Metal fences are becoming a popular choice
among residential housing for security and aesthetic purposes.
Some metal fencing is decorative (wrought iron and aluminum)
and others are purely functional. Decorative aluminum is
made to resemble the enduring style found in wrought iron,
without the burden of high maintenance. Chain link, wire
and wire mesh are generally considered functional metal
fences.
Metal fencing offers durability, longevity,
and strength. It has become increasingly synonymous with
security because of its lateral strength and its prevention
to climbing. It also provides for great visibility without

is a wonderful option. You will not be getting the classic
rich feel of wood, but aluminum does a wonderful job of
enhancing architectural structures.
Typically, aluminum fencing at its lowest
price compares to vinyl at its most expensive price. Aluminum,
however, does not cost as much to install as wrought iron
would. Before purchasing an aluminum fence, it is best to
consult a qualified professional to go over zoning laws,
permits, geographical location and of course, your budget.
Also, metal fence installation is not usually a do-it-yourself
project. Mistakes are easy to make and very visible. They
can seriously compromise the fence's strength, so professional
skill with the necessary materials is essential to an attractive
and lasting result.
